The harvest season in Costa Rica is generally from late fall to early spring, in 2017 the Harvest began in Late November. 20 kids attended La Hilda, with ages ranging from 3-10 years old. While their parents were working to harvest the year’s coffee crop, these kids had a place to play and be kids.

The La Hilda daycare provided children with a general medical check, dental check, meals, a playground and educational talks.
